Although the Isle of Skye get's busy in the summer months, a trip to the Highlands would not be complete without a journey to this enchanting island. It's a magical place to visit.

This really is a special place to visit in your North 500 Motorhome. There is so much to see and do on Skye we would be surprised if you did it in a day, so it's just as well you took your bed along with you, as you can relax and discover all it's hidden gems.

From the famous Old Man of Storr, Neist Point, The Quiraing, The Fairy Pools and of course the lovely town of Portree, the island is a photographer's dream.

Be sure to book early though as campsites do get busy in the high season.

The Isle of Skye is perfectly placed for the ultimate sunset. Get your camera's ready and find a good spot to just sit and enjoy this moment. There are hundreds of great locations around the coastline of Skye to just pull over and bask in the warm glow of the sun.

Our vehicles are superbly equipped with big windows, so if you don't want to get out, you can still enjoy it from the comfort of your North 500 motorhome.
